Preparation Tips for AIEEE

Before you get to know about the various tips for preparing AIEEE, you must know that wise preparation begins with wise planning beforehand.

  • Time Management: The very first step in AIEEE preparation is time management. In other words, how effectively you are able to use the available time. The best way is to divide your time in different sections and add milestones in it and stick to it. It is better to add some free time also, so that you are not required to change your study plan in case there’s any alteration in any planned module. It will be right to mention here that most students, who fail in this exam, don’t have a lack of ability or intelligence, but a lack of planning and discipline in exam preparation!
  • Analyze Previous Years’ Question Papers: It is always one of the best ways to get the idea of exam pattern. Do consider the division of marks to various questions and put emphasis on those areas.
  • Master the Fundamentals: Mastering the fundamentals is a very prominent step in preparing for the exam because a good number of questions asked in the exams are based on fundamentals and their applications. It is better to take advice from experienced colleagues or trainers about relevant books to read, instead of reading too many of them.
  • Emphasize on Subjects: Remember, all subjects are important, so you cannot afford to neglect any of them. However, you can spend more time on the subject in which you are weak. This is important because you need to secure at least minimum qualifying marks in each subject. Thus, adequate time allocation to all subjects is mandatory.
  • Consider Quality Over Quantity: Answering 100 quality questions are far better than doing 1000 carelessly selected questions.
  • Practice on Your Own: Do practice on your own. If you are not able to find the answer, do not rush to look for the solution. Go through the theory again and practice again.
  • Speed and Strike: Speed is very important in AIEEE exam. While practicing do keep track of your speed and try to complete trial test papers in time.

Finally, keep in mind speed without accuracy is of no use because of negative marking. So be careful but calm while answering the questions.

In upshot, always remember that in the absence of proper strategy for your exam preparation, you might not get the desired results. So, you need to do lot of hard work, but that must be regular. Remember without commitment, success can never be achieved in any field.
