AISECT University launches ‘Shiksha Mitr’ Scholarship Programme worth Rs. 1 Crore to facilitate higher education for students across India

AISECT University, which is Bhopal’s first private university, has announced a prestigious scholarship programme ‘Shiksha Mitr’ worth Rs. 1 Crore wherein merit-based scholarships will be offered on a national basis to all 12th standard students. Under this scholarship scheme, students seeking admission into Graduation programs at the University can avail themselves reduction in course fees upto 60% based on their 12th standard marks. Students seeking admission into select PG Programs will also be given scholarships based on graduation marks. These scholarships will be based on the availability of seats, merit and first-come-first-serve basis.

AISECT University’s Chancellor Mr. Santosh Choubey has said that the scholarship would help extremely bright students who let go of their academic ambitions merely because of lack of adequate resources. “These children are the future leaders of our country and it is our responsibility to do whatever possible to ensure that there is no impediment to their growth and success. AISECT Group has always endeavored to come up with solutions which would make quality education accessible to maximum students so that they don’t have to compromise on this basic necessity of life. AISECT University Shiksha Mitr Scholarship is a step in this direction.” Mr. Choubey added.

Students applying for any program at AISECT University are automatically eligible for the Shiksha Mitr Scholarship. All details are given on the university’s website at www.aisectuniversity.ac.in. Alternatively students can mail on registrar@aisectuniversity.ac.in. The last date for applying for programs at AISECT University is 30th July.

AISECT University, whose inaugural session would be launched in July this year, has been established under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act by the Government of MP Act No. 27 of 2010. The Engineering Undergraduate programs of AISECT University have been approved by AICTE & the B.Ed. program of the University has been approved by NCTE. Spread over a sprawling 50 acre campus on Bhopal-Chiklod Road, the University will offer Graduate and Post Graduate Programs through six Faculties organized in the categories of Engineering, Computer Science & Information Technology, Management, Education, Commerce and Science.
