The Government college of Ajmer is one of the most reputed colleges for higher education in India. It offers both graduation and post graduation degrees to students. The college commonly known by its nickname of GCA and is a 170 year old institution. It offers education in its various departments and courses to close to 8000 students approximately each year.
Courses Offered
The four main streams that the Government College of Ajmer offers are arts, science commerce and law. There are close to 14 subjects in Arts that the graduates can choose from along with four honour subjects. The science graduates and post graduate courses have five subjects and honours in chemistry. The Commerce courses for graduates and post graduates are available primarily in three subjects. Honours are also available in accountancy and business statistics.

Interested students can apply for the courses and send across the filled in application form to the concerned authorities before the close of the last date for submission. Post this; selected students receive a call of the exams with details of their centers mentioned in the call letter. Post the exam, the counseling sessions are held for students and their admission into various courses offered by the Government College of Ajmer.
