The CADC Entrance Exam or commonly known as the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing entrance exam is an exam conducted by CADC for admission into its Post Graduate degrees. The CADC focuses on delivering providing quality education in the areas of advanced software areas to their students through their four schools, School of IT, School of electronics, school of Management and Finishing School. This exam is taken up by all students who are keen on pursuing a career in advanced software areas.
CADC Course Details
The courses offered by CADC are:
- Post graduate Diploma in systems and Systems & Database Administration
- Masters in Business administration specializing in Software Enterprise Management
- Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced software design and development
- Post graduate diploma in embedded systems and VLSI design
- Post Graduate diploma in wireless technology and application
- Post graduate diploma in GIS and remote sensing.
- Apart from the Post graduate diploma courses, CADC also offers M.Tech and MCA courses.
The call for applications is published in all leading newspapers education portals. However, it is mandatory to register online. No hard copied of the application forms will be accepted. Eligibility Criteria for CADC Entrance Exam
The Eligibility criteria vary from course to course. However broadly, candidates who have a degree in engineering, i.e., electronics and instrumentation, information technology Electronics and communication, B.Tech in computer science, electrical and electronics can apply to the courses offered by the CADC. Applications from candidates who have completed their AIME, MCA, MCM with B.Sc., MBA in IT or systems, Information technology, M.Sc in computer science, electronics and communication and electronics can also apply. The students are also required to have secured a minimum of 60 percent marks in their qualifying degrees. Students in their final year of degree can also apply for the exams. However admission would be granted only on the basis of the candidate being able to produce his/her qualifying degree certificates. The payment has to be made via demand draft or through Nom Electronic fund transfer. In case of a Demand draft the candidates are required to send across their mark sheets and other required certificates.
CADC Exam Details
The exam is 2 hours long and has 100 multiple choice questions. The questions are divided into three sections namely, General aptitude that has 20 questions, Computer fundamentals that comprises of 40 questions and Networking fundamentals that comprises of 40 questions. The candidates who meet their requisite eligibility criteria will be informed via e-mail with regards to the venue and dates of the entrance examination.
