- One can start a self owned business of a drug store or a pharmacy after getting a diploma or degree in pharmacy. It is also mandatory to register with the state pharmacy council in order to do the same.
- One can get job opportunities in hospitals, universities, laboratories, research and development institutes and teaching after becoming a graduate in pharmacy.
- Various Government departments such as the Health and the Welfare Department, the Department of National Defence, the Pest Control Division of Agriculture hire pharmacists for various specific jobs.
