Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) is a deemed institute established in Delhi in the year 1963 by the Government of India. IIFT is majorly inclined to establish foreign trade in India. IIFT programs are designed to help students specialize in foreign trade, export and boost international trade in India.
Programs Offered
IIFT offers undergraduate certificate courses like Export Management, Capital and Financial Markets, Apparel Export Management, International Business Language (French and Spanish). Post Graduate diploma courses in International Business, Industrial Marketing. Post Graduate Degree courses in Master of Business Administration in International Business (full time / part time). IIFT also offer Doctorate course in management.
Eligibility
In order to apply for post graduate diploma courses a student should have minimum qualification of 10+2 with graduation in ant field or a two year diploma from a recognized university or institute. For post graduate diploma programs graduation or a post graduation degree is the criterion for applying. For post graduate degree courses a student should have a graduation degree in a related field from a recognized university. For doctorate program masters’ degree in a related field is essential for applying.
Selection Procedure
Selection procedure varies from course to course. Undergraduate diploma courses aspirants have to undergo personal interviews for the selection. For post graduate diploma courses the students have to pass essay writing test with group discussion and interview. For admission to Post Graduate degree course IIFT accepts CAT score followed by group discussion and personal interview. For doctorate courses students are selected on the basis of their research work, their academic scores and personal interview or viva.
