What are the prospects of political science in India today after doing an M.A. in it? Are jobs as lecturers of this subject limited in India? And are other jobs limited?

Well today we can say that if you are  capable and know what you are doing every course or career stream is best suited for you. Similarly students who have interest in history can surely opt for Political Science stream. The job options are not limited to national boundaries but have international options available too.
 
According to a research only students with a political background have been chosen to work for United Nations Organization (UNO). In India also ample job opportunities are available in Government sector as well as Private Sector.
 
With Government sector you can opt for political career or assist a party or political leader. In Private Sector you can opt for print or audio journalism.
