After 10+2, the first degree in aviation is B.Sc. Aviation. The degree elucidates the varying ways and methods of operation in this field. Additionally, management and personnel skills are also important components of this degree.
There is BBA aviation course too but B.Sc. Aviation is more appropriate for those who wish to be pilots as it encompasses the entire course of CPL (Commercial Pilot License). On the other hand BBA aviation course is good for those who are willing to work for cabin or ground crew. It covers more about management but not much about flying. Managements of private as well as government airports are covered in it.
Job Prospects
There are great possibilities of increase in job opportunities in the field of aviation. The increase in the number of jobs in aviation sector is equivalents to all other occupations. Contributing factors include population growth and expanding economy which will result in boosting the demand for air travel.
You can be pilot, flight engineers etc. but for these higher ranks you will need to purse higher study. However, you can instantly join ground/cabin crew jobs after the completion of the course and simultaneously continue your higher studies. You can get job in management section of the airlines.
