I am in 10th right now and I don't know what should I take up after 10th. I am totally confused. My brother tells me to take up BiPC and my parents tell me to take up CEC. What should I do? My parents will allow me to take up anything of my choice, but I myself don't know what should I take up? Please suggest in a good course, whether BiPC (OR) CEC?

Hello, Chosing any course
Hello,
Chosing any course would be your choice. I can only suggest you chose any course you want according to your interest. Both the courses have their own stream.
The delay in counselling is deliberate to give the option of choosing the preferred courses like MBBS and BDS first. Generally, BiPC students prefer MBBS and BDS courses first and consider biotechnology and pharmacy courses when the options in the former category are closed.
As per the latest figures available with the Technical Education Department, 20 colleges are offering B.Tech (biotech) course with an intake capacity of 910 seats. That means 455 seats are reserved for BiPC stream students. However, 15 per cent of these seats are are reserved under the management quota. To maintain equality, if the MPC stream gets one additional seat this year in the distribution, the BiPC students get the advantage the following year.
