MDS (Master of Dentist Surgery) in Community Dentistry program comprises exams and a research thesis. It comprises the study of community oral health and it promotion along with provision and funding of oral health care. The course also tackles with the issues that arise in the planning and management of community oral health services.
Eligibility Criteria for MDS-Community Dentistry:
Students who are willing to do this course from a reputed university are required to meet eligibility requirements which are as follows:
- You should have passed 10+2 level with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects.
- You should hold bachelor’s degree in Science from a recognized college or university. It is mandatory that you must studied at least tow of the subjects Chemistry, Biology, Physics and English at graduation level.
- You should have secured at least 60% marks in aggregate.
- You need to be eligible for Competitive entrance exam, you must possess above mentioned qualification.
- Students appearing for final years exam prior to qualifying exam or those awaiting their results can also apply for the course and take the test but the candidate will not be able to take admission to the course until s/he pass the qualifying exam with required marks.
