You can get job in government owned hospitals, primary health care institutions and dispensaries. Jobs are also available in schools and orphanages. Military and railway department also recruit nursing staff. Other than this, you can choose the teaching line in nursing training institution.
Remuneration
If you get job in government owned hospitals, then you will get initial salary of around Rs.6, 500 to Rs.10, 000. However, in private hospitals, you can get a bit higher salary. If you choose to become a private nurse then you will have fixed daily fee.
